This is a product I have been using before applying my compact powder to cover up the open pores around my nose area. The Ettusais Zero Pore Coat.
Ettusais is a sub-brand of Shiseido which carries a range of medicated acne, whitening and pore care products. Their zero pore coat is an extremely light and quick-dry formula, which is to be applied after skincare and before foundation. Just smooth on a thin coat on areas prone to oiliness and with visible pores.
There has been a mixed bag of reviews with some claiming that the product actually gave them a pore-less look while others did not see much difference.
For me, I would say that while it doesn’t exactly gives me a flawlessly smooth complexion, I’m still quite impressed that the transparent pre-makeup base does help to to fill in my pores and make them less visible overall.
I suppose at the end of the day, the result is really dependent on your skin condition and if your large pores actually needs more than just cover up. If that is the case, you might want to try out the Ettusais Zero Pore Mask which is a leave-on water-based gel-type mask that supposedly plumps up your skin, shrinking pores and making them less noticeable.
If not, you may like to check out Ettusais Zero Pore Coat which is available at S$36 from Isetan stores in Singapore.
