Biolyn Scalp Balancing Serum
Thursday, 30 November 2006I have quite a bit of hair problem. On top of my fine limpy hair, I have an overly greasy scalp because of excessive sebum secretion. Even though I wash my hair daily, my scalp gets very oily by the late afternoon. And because of that, my hair was thinning.
Over the years, I have tried many types of hair products to help control my situation. Hair loss lotions, serums, what have you. I also sought treatment from Dr Philip Kingsley Trichological Centre. Yet, I didn’t see any visible results. My scalp remained greasy and my hair thin after all the money spent. It was most exasperating.
My hairstylist, who also has a greasy scalp, recommended me Regaine. He has been using it for five years and swears by it. But lazy me hated the idea of having to religiously rub the lotion on my scalp daily. Moreover, I have used similar products before and didn’t like having my hair roots feel wet and heavy after each application.
Then sometime in 2004, I chanced upon Biolyn’s range of follicle care products developed by Singapore Professor Lee Chee Wee. Derived from natural plant extracts that consist of biotransformed peptides and saccharides, Biolyn is specially formulated to keep hair follicles and scalp healthy.
I bought their Scalp Balancing Serum out of curiosity and also because it is really easy to use. Just pump out one or two droplets, add to my shampoo and wash my hair as usual. No need for laborious application and no need to suffer from damp looking hair.
After using the first 60ml bottle, I was hooked. My scalp condition improved and was noticeably less greasy. With the excessive sebum condition controlled, I also need not have to worry about thinning hair. I am one happy woman now.
Biolyn Scalp Balancing Serum is available at Guardian Pharmacies, Watson or Lo Hong Ka outlets at $68. You can also check product details at their website www.biolyn.com.sg.
