Mavala hand cream

Because I like to try different types of hand creams, I rarely buy a similar brand twice.  However, I made an exception with Mavala Hand Cream.  In fact, I can emphatically state that this is my current favourite hand cream.  It’s by far the best in terms of quality and the price at S$14.50 for 50ml is really reasonable.

What I like about it is that the formula is light, non-sticky, non-oily, yet moisturizing with a pleasant smell.  The difference is very visible immediately after application as the cream penetrates quickly into my skin and my hands immediately feel smooth, soft and supple.  Even my cuticles look nourished.

Apparently, special ingredients, particularly allantion with its proven healing properties, have been specially blended with marine collagen and vegetable oils to produce a fast-acting and effective daily treatment for rough hands.  In addition, its rich emollient oils act as a protective barrier against exposure to water, powerful detergents and unkind weather.  The best part about Mavala hand cream is that it is economical. Just one small dab is sufficient for each application and you don’t have to re-apply very frequently afterwards.

The hand cream is available at Mavala counters or selected Sasa stores.

  1. Hi~

i stumbled upon your blog.. i am looking for a non sticky yet moisturizing hand cream.. was reading your reviews.. tadah! and i was tempted to try mavala hand cream that only cost S$14.50… may i know where i can find mavala counters? hmm.. apparently.. sasa dont carry it… THANKS! or is there other hand creams you can recommend? :D

    • I haven’t used Mavala for awhile now and am not sure…they used to have some Mavala counters at Metro but maybe not all the stores.

There used to be one really cheap one – $5 for a small tube – from Lavera. But they haven’t bring in new stock for a long time now.

The other one is a new Oliv’ brand found at Watsons – about $24+. Not bad.

  2. ooOO ya.. i went to metro causeway point.. i did not see mavala counters though…
