Natural fun lip balms
Sunday, 28 January 2007Remember my last entry on Lots of lippy fun at My Lip Stuff? I’m delighted to report that I’ve very pleased with the six naturally flavoured lip balms I’ve tried and will not hesitate to recommend this to anyone who is into pampering their lips. These lip balms are truly irresistable!
Great texture
The texture of each My Lip Stuff lip balm is just right with moisture-packed natural butters, oils and beewax ingredients. I would put it slightly above The Body Shop Vitamin E Lip Care SPF 15 and Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer SPF 15 which I love. No heavy waxy feeling and works great with my lipstick.
Varied flavours
The best are the varied flavours. Unless you’re adversed to candies, you will have no problem loving these lip balms. Of the lot I ordered, I love the Blueberries & Cream most. True to the flavour! Rainbow Sherbet is another one I like as it reminds me of the sherbet ice-cream that I love. The other two, which are Raspberry Lemonade and Tropical Fun, smell fruity-like and are in fact sweet to taste! No, of course I didn’t eat them, but I probably would have if I could.
Mixed Mystery was another flavour I ordered. I don’t know what flavour is this and didn’t like it initially. But it kind of grew on me after awhile. In fact, I got another one of this as a freebie and will give this to my friend Ashes to try.
Lip plumper
But don’t be fooled into thinking that all their flavours are fruity or sweet though. Some of their stuff are truly edgy and interesting. For example, Jalapeno, another lip balm which I ordered is literally hot and is a little bitter on the tastebud. It’s however, a great lip plump and instantly works to inflate my lips. The best part is that it actually last for awhile and the effect is not diminished even after drinking some water. I’m so glad I was able to change my order in time to include this.
Neat packaging
All lip balms come in a very clean packaging bearing their trademark name and font. No box, just a plastic wrap. Definitely not fanciful but it suits their environmentally-friendly image well. While My Lip Stuff’s lip balms do not come with SPF protection, nothing beats the fact that their products use only natural ingredients which are skin-loving. No petroleum. No mineral oil. No testing on animals. Yet all are so affordable! What more can I say?
I love them!

Hope you’ll like them. They’re lovely to use…only thing is, you need to use them within 3 – 6 months.
