Charles Worthington Body Beautiful

Just as I was getting disappointed with the new formulation of REF 335, I found myself another great volume shampoo.  Charles Worthington Body Beautiful Shampoo.   I’m totally won over by it as my bob haircut looks and feels so gorgeous after each shampoo.   Even my husband agreed.

It smells nice and lathers very well.  In fact, I was initially quite skeptical because my hair didn’t feel that squeaky clean after the lather.  It had that heavy feeling of being conditioned and I thought my hair would be limp looking.   While blow drying my hair the first time I used the shampoo, I also noticed that there was a slight resistance and the comb wasn’t smooth.  But boy, the result was a pleasant surprise.  My hair never looked and felt so full.  In fact, I find that with each shampoo, my hair becomes less tangled and easier to brush.  It’s almost like I have used hair conditioner.

This shampoo is formulated to thicken and strengthen fine, limp and flyaway hair without weighing it down.  It works by plumping up each individual strand, leaving hair with more volume and vitality.  In addition, it will also moisture and repair perm and colour damage hair, leaving it shiny and static-free.  And this is true.  My hair which had become static over these past weeks is no longer so.

Overall, I love this discovery except for one tiny gripe.  As the shampoo is rather diluted,  I have to careful when pouring it on my hand to avoid excessive wastage.

This 250ml shampoo comes in a bright orange packaging and is retailing at Watson’s for S$14.   For more information, check out Charles Worthington at their website www.cwlondon.com.
