Mavala Colorfix for brillant nails

Whether you do your own nails or have it done, you should own at least one of Mavala Colorfix.  This is possibily the best top coat ever.  Yes, even better than OPI’s.

Mavala Colorfix is a clear top enamel that dries to a hard elastic glaze and provides nail color with an extra protective armor against chipping and peeling.  Reinforced with acryl, Colorfix contributes a brilliant sheen to nail colour and “fixes” it, forming an extra protective shield against flaking.   In fact, I find that it can fix uneven nail coating and is even able to cover up little bubbles.

After the final coat of nail color has dried, apply Colorfix over the entire nail and under the nail tip, as this seals the edge, which is where your enamel is most likely to chip.  If your beautifully manicured or pedicured nails look dull and worn after a few days, just apply a second coat of Colorfix and it will instantly brighten up your nail colors and make it last even longer.

Mavala Colorfix cost S$11.05 and is available at all Mavala counters as well as Sasa outlets.

    Hi There,

Parallel to this product, I would also like to recommend Sally Hansen’s Mega Shine top coat. It provides all that Mavala ColorFix does and the shine last up to 10 days. I do house work on daily basis so this is def a great product. It’s $13.50 so i always stock up during Watson’s 20% storewide sale.

Heather: Sally Hansen’s Mega Shine? Okay, I’ll have a look at it. I used to use Sally Hansen’s nail stuff…but I don’t remember using this before.

I would also reccomend the Mavala scientifique nail hardener.
It instantly hardens your nails and gets rid of any split looking nails…not quite sure how it works but it does.
the packaging also says to use only 1 or 2 times a week on the nail tips only.
Also the nail hardener will not work on fake nails as it has to absorb into your real nails to work.
the “large” 5ml bottle seems small but should last you at least 6 months (lasts me almost 1 year).

I actually prefer the Mavala top coat over the Sally Hansen.
I tried the Sally Hansen one and it ruined my nail polish.
I had used Mavala nail polish and let that dry, applied Sally Hansen top coat and it ruined the shine of my nail polish- they looked so dull compared the the usual Mavala high shine.

-and no, I do not work for Mavala, just a big fan of their products, been using then at least 10 years!
