The Original Source Lime Shower is what it says: Mouthwateringly Zingy! I felt instantly awake showering with it. Its mind blowing zing of lime essential oil taken straight from the natural source. Truly fruit refreshing!
However, while you get hit by the mind blowing zing of lime essential oil as soon as you rub the shower gel on your skin, the fragrance disappears as soon as the gel is rinsed off. So my advice is when using this shower gel, don’t stand under the water as all the gel will go down the plug. You’ll need to wet your body and then work up a lather to enjoy the fragrance and the effects.
Another thing is that Original Source shower gels use essential oils and that may not be suitable for all skin types. On my skin, they’re okay but it definitely isn’t moisturising. Hence, after shower, I must always remember to slap on my body lotion.
But I do enjoy using this gel, as well as looking at its packaging which is so colourful and bright. And environmentally, this product scores well as all Original Source shower gels use 100% natural essentials oils extracted from different elements of fruits and plants, such as the leaves, stems and flowers in plants or the peel of fruits. No synthetic fragrances or perfumes. Plus, they are not tested on animals.
The 250ml Original Source Lime Shower retails at S$8.50 in Guardian and Watson’s.
And if you don’t like lime, you can always check out their other zingy, zesty flavours such as Almond & Coconut, Rose & Geranium, Tea Tree & Mint, Tea Tree & Lavender or Tea Tree & Lemon.
