I’m so taken by the packaging of Bourjois’ new range of eye makeup and lipsticks. Pretty! Especially their new Petit Guide de Style which comes in six pretty booklets, each consisting of a pair of eyeshadow and liner complete with eye makeup tips! At S$23 plus a 20% discount from a special promotion, I just couldn’t resist getting the shell pink and dark violet named Coquette Rosette.
Actually before settling on Coquette Rosette, I almost bought one of the Suivez Mon Regard, which is a loose powder eye shadow. This cost slightly more at $26.50 but it is extra nifty as each pot actually comes with its very own brush, and I was shown how the clever packaging actually deposits just the right amount of colour. But because the colours are more shimmering, I decided to skip it and spend my money on Bourjois Docteur Glamour, an intensive moisturising lipstick instead.
Docteur Glamour contains mango and shea butter and I have to say this is good stuff! It glides on in an instant upon application, coating my lips and lasting for hours without flaking. There are a total of 11 shades and I chose Brun ô p’tits soins 12 with a slight brownish tint. Cost? $23. But I got another 20% discount.
