Get double eyelids with EyeTalk

I found out from a young lady by the name of June that she’s been ”creating” her double eyelid using this product call Eye Talk Eye Glue from Japan.   I was quite interested because I’ve never noticed products like that and did some search on the Net.

The Eye Talk Eye Glue is actually a kit containing an eyelid glue with a brush and a mini fork.   Koji, the Japanese company selling this even has an instruction video on how Eye Talk Eye Glue is being used on their website.   Rather interesting when you see how the Japanese lady create the crease on her eyelid using the whitish glue and mini fork.

June told me that of the many products she had tried, this one works best for her and last longest.  Seems that this product has been around for awhile and June actually got hers at S$15.90 from Basic Beauty located at #03-07 in The Heeren’s.

I also found Koji has introduced two more new products of the same range.  One is Clear Eye Talk Eye Glue which is the same as the original Eye Talk except that it is transparent with collagen essence.  The other is Eye Talk Tuck In Tape which is a transparent tape used to create natural looking double eyelid.  I am not sure if these two are already available at Basic Beauty or elsewhere but I found both online here and here.

So if you’re in need of double eyelids, you might want to give this a try instead of going under the knife.

  1. I bought the Eye Talk from the Heeren shop but never got down to using it. Right now, there’s a new aid in Taipei that’s looks like a hairclip. http://www.jpmon.com/jp5/prod_detail.asp?pid=WLM01-027205&src=

DR: Do you need to use such aid? I thought you have natural double eyelids? But the product you pointed out looks interesting, but wonder if it’s painful.

  2. :) I thought if I can deepen the double fold, I will look better!

    DR:  Wa kow!

  3. I live in Canada and have been looking everywhere for this product along with an explanation as to how it works, but seems like all the sites regarding these types of product are written in Japanese. Thanks for the great info!

Anne: I’m glad the info works for you!

Anne: Glad you find this useful!

  5. How long does the eyetalk last?
does it come off easily in water? a little bit of sweat?

I want to buy it but im afraid it will come off while im running in the heat and i start sweating, or it might start coming off towards the end of the day. please let me know!

sheena: I’ve not used this product myself so I cannot be certain although I was told it can last a full day. It shouldn’t come off that easily and it’s kind of hard for the eyelid to perspire no?

  6. and whats the difference between the regular eye talk and the active eyetalk? i cant read the sites in japanese!

    sheena: I’m not sure either…

  7. I’m in the states now.. seriously wanna try this one.. but cannot find any websites to get it besides those japanese ones..

Ewing: I think I’ve pointed to one that is non-Japanese.

  8. I bought Koji Clear Eyetalk off of Ebay. If you search you will find Ebay sellers based in the USA and not in other countries.
The Clear Eyetalk really works wonders, and it will stay all day unless it is high humidity/you are sweaty.

I just bought Koji Active Eyetalk which is supposedly sweat/water proof, so we’ll see how it goes.

Anyway, practice makes perfect when using this stuff, if you have to wash it off (I just use my reg. make-up remover…it comes off very easily considering in normal conditions it stays all day) and try again, so be it. Eventually you will get it right. I highly recommend it.

Jane: That’s great! Glad it worked well for you.

  9. I have been interested in trying something like this, but do you find that eyelid
tape or glue causes any long term damage to the skin? Would it eventually make the skin stretch out?

Tara: I can’t say for sure with prolonged usage. But the glue should be gentle enough for the skin. But if you’ve to pull the skin around your eyes to use the tape, then it might be damaged in the long run.

  10. i’ve been using something called “Wonder Eye Tape Extra” and it works well except that it doesnt make a dent as well into my eyes.
I’ve just ordered the Eye Talk on ebay from HK. I cant seem to find any shop around where i live to buy this. hopefully this one works well as people mentioned.

  11. hi i have been looking for a product like this for sooooo long that i finally found your guys product and i really want to order the double eyelid talk…but i am having problems how to purchase this item . so i was wondering how can i order this product. please email me as soon as possible ..thank you soo much.

lLinda: I have no idea where you’re located. If you want to buy online, you can check up through the links I’ve provided or run a search and you should be able to find it available through ebay.

  12. you can get this on ebay!

  13. hey ladies, any of you have recommendations as to how to apply eye-talk? i bought it recently, practiced a couple of times, but still have problems =( it looks pretty unnatural/visible.. is it supposed to make your eyelid feel sticky & uncomfortable?

  14. I’ve used a similar one a few years back.. it managed to permanently create a crease on one of my eyelid — very natural looking … but never formed on the other… so, one of my eye is double and the other is single..

  15. I’m so glad I found this!
I’m not asian but one of my eyes has no crease, so it looks kinda bad because my eyes are not the same :/
I will have to look this product up :D

  16. Hi! I’m very glad I’ve found this site. I’m from Korea but I live in Europe and I’ve searched for something like this for ages. Here no one has problems wit htheir eyelids… I now this product is found on e-bay, but I would like to buy it from a shop, not a private person, do you know any more site selling it?

Please also send the answer to my mail.

Malin: Try http://www.bobodave.com but I’ve no experience with the shop though.

  17. do you know any web site that selling It? http://www.bobodave.com is so expencive.. do you know any else ? (:

Felicia: I think you can find it on ebay too…No?

  18. i have a single eyelid, but they’re thick. will this product still work for me?

Grace: Not too sure cos you’re supposed to pull them a bit after putting on the glue. If your eyelid is thick but the skin has room to be tugged at, I think it might work.

  19. Hi!

    I sell the product here:
    http://www.heheproductions.ecrater.com

I am from the US, and I personally use this. Please email me with any questions!

I have a huge selection of double eyelid products for you to choose from!

If your eyelid is thicker, try using a combination of glue + tape to make it work =)

  20. i bought this eye glue (middle green one) and used it for over 1 year. ITS AMAZING! i live in canada and bought it in hong kong. it’s really good! it makes very natural looking double eyelids and they stay for the entire day. sweat won’t usually make it come off. if u apply this glue for 1 hour or so, ur eyelids can stay double for the rest of the day! the glue is completely clear so people can’t notice it. you can even apply make up / eyeshadow/ eyeliner over it

the pink one to your left isn’t as good as the green one. the pink one leaves a mark on your eye. after a few hours of applying it, your eyelids will have some white shiny “dried glue” on it. i don’t recommend this glue. altho the double eyelid concept still works

juicy: Thanks for sharing this! The girls who come here looking for info on eyetalk will definitely appreciate this useful information. :)

  21. I’ve been looking for this product for over 2 years! I’m glad I found this website, but I have no clue where to purchase this product ?
Ebay ? No, it’s way too much on ebay!
How much is it if i was to order it on some other websites? And can I find this product at a local store or something ? Please contact me with some more info on my email address.
    Thank you!

  22. Anyone know if this works for non-Asians? I’m not Asian, but I still have this kind of eyes and have wished for years for something to make me look like I have eyelids! without having to resort to surgery.

Reyna: It should work for yours as this is suitable for those with single eyelids…something more common with the Asians.

  23. Hi, I am chinese but i live in Germany…I want to try the produdt, but i cannot find it :-(

  24. this may sound like a silly question but i am just curious, if you have eyelids but they are small could this help make them look bigger does anyone know?
And does anyone know the price?
    Thank you!:)

  25. what shop did you get them from and I am going to hong kong soon so which shops over there sell them? x

  26. I am interested in tryin out the eye talk glue (green one, as juicy mentioned above)juz out of curiousity….what is the difference between the tape and the glue? which one gives more natural effect and lasts longer. Also which one provides you that permament double lid result.
any comments or feedback is much appreciated.

  27. Okay, this may take awhile since I have a few questions.
    1. How much is it if you purchase it in Hong Kong?
    2. Is this cheaper in Hong Kong or China?
    3. If you already have a visible double eyelid and use this for 6 months day and night to create a larger double eyelid, will it permanently be larger? Because many people with monolids, when they use this for a long period of time, they have a permanent double eyelid.
    thanks!

  28. To Tina: Many people prefer double eyelid glue over the tape because 1) double eyelid glue lasts longer, 2) when it dries, it’s clear, therefore less visible, and 3) double eyelid glue lasts longer. BUT, double eyelid glue’s more expensive, although it the whole thing will probably last you a month or two.

  29. Oops, for 3) I mean it looks more natural.

  30. Hi! I would like to buy this glue! I live in Kazakhstan, Astana city. how you can buy this product? Thanks/

  31. I can’t understand this, I think Japanese eyes are the real beauty and doublelid is uglier.. :/

  32. Hi, I live in New York City and I want to buy eyetalk, but I want to buy it in an actual walk-in store and not online because I don’t have a credit/debit card. Do you know where I would be able to get it in New York City like Brooklyn, Manhattan, Bronx or Queens? Thanks a lot!

  33. I’ve been using Cosmerize double eyelid serum and it works best for me.
