For a change, I reverted back to red nail polish this week. This in fact, is the first nail colour I used. OPI SoHo Nice To Meet You. I love this shimmering red tone. Rich, but not too bright or gaudy. Two coats after OPI Start To Finish then sealed with Mavala ColorFix and I’m good to go with any shoes or clothes!
SoHo Nice To Meet You is an OPI classic. Funny however while I was trying to get the picture of the nail polish for this entry, I noticed that the colour of the polish on OPI’s website doesn’t look quite like the actual shade. Not even on their Try It On Studio. It definitely looks lighter and more pinkish to me. Not sure if they’ve got the wrong bottle featured.
But you’re definitely looking at SoHo Nice To Meet You here.

i can never remember the names of the nail polish!
imp: I do…especially if the names are unique. And remembering them used to help me get the right colours at the pedi previously becos some of them look so similar!
I LOVE OPIs! My fav red must be ‘Mrs O’Leary’ and ‘Edin-Burgundy’.
msfairface: Have tried Edin-Burgundy I think but not the other. But give me OPI anytime…
After a while, do you not realise that only certain shades look good on you? I can’t take pink, nor browns, or even orange-based shades. Somehow, they make me look sallow.
DR: Yeah…I dislike all the light tones. Browns are okay if they’re dark enough. I can never take those peachy colours too. But I don’t mind gold or silver occasionally.
