Cherry Blossom Solid Perfume
Thursday, 29 March 2007I haven’t done any reviews on perfumes, simply because I don’t use any. But I’ve just started using L’Occitane Cherry Blossom Solid Perfume I bought the other day.
Well, I bought it mainly because I needed to top up my purchase for a freebie, and chose this because it looks so pretty and so nifty.
Cherry Blossom or Fleurs de Cerisier in French is L’Occitane’s new fragrance for spring 2007 to celebrate the beauty of the cherry blossom. I’ve never used solid perfume before and this is definitely ideal for carrying around in my bag without worrying about spillage. In fact, it looks like a lip balm in a tin!
I’m not sure how cherry blossom smells, but this solid perfume is sure fresh and floral. Very sweet and delicate. I just dab my finger into the solid pefume, apply to pulse points on my wrists and neck and I immediately smell refreshing. Not greasy or sticky. I like it very much and this may likely mark the beginning of my solid perfume sampling journey!
Never mind that the fragrance doesn’t last too long, but because this comes in a tin, I can bring it around and re-apply whenever I feel like it.
I don’t know how long this 10ml will last me. But I’m okay with paying S$18 to be able to sneak this pretty tin into my bag and whip it out anytime with glee.
