Christian Dior Hydrating Concealer

Apart from my eye gel, I’m very conscious of applying anything else on my eyes.  Especially my undereye.  I’m paranoid about getting oil seeds after one scary experience of using an eye cream that was overly rich.

So even though I have some serious dark circles under my eyes,  I’ve rarely used any concealer to cover it up.  I just apply my foundation over and hope it’ll take care of itself.  But of course, it doesn’t work that way and I end up looking haggard and tired most of the time.

Recently I started applying my Christian Dior Hydrating Concealer which is only used to conceal my facial dark spots under my eyes.  And I was surprised it work really well.

Just dab a miniscule drop, blend and my undereye dark cirles are covered up very nicely.   The best part is that this concealer doesn’t cake up and can survive a full day under my foundation very much intact.  Apparently, this comes with emollient oils to soften and smooth the skin plus chamomile extract to soothe.  This explains how come the skin appears smooth and the dark circles seem to disappear.

If I remember correctly, I bought Christian Dior Hydrating Concealer at S$38 and it comes in three colours; light biege 410, medium beige 430 and light golden 520.

So looks like I can dismiss my earlier thoughts of purchasing some new concealer especially those with a brush.  This long-wearing hydrating concealer is already doing a wonderful job for my eyes which I should have discovered earlier.  But well, better late than never!

  1. i think this is a good buy and given your review, I might just get it afterall! I am using the Lancome Eye Concealor but it makes me tear if I place some near my eye area, and at more than $45 i think, i definitely would not repurchase it.

msff: I hope I’ve got the price right though.

  2. Hmm… I never like to put concealer on the eye area because it always makes me look funny. BTW, don’t rem you having dark circles. Is it a recent thing with the extra work hours?

DR: I know what you mean. Some concealer make me look weird. But surprisingly, this one is natural. Oh yes, I have dark circles on top of the eyebag. Maybe that day just wasn’t so obvious only…

  3. HI!
May i know where you bought it from? I went to the Christian Dior counter at Isetan Scotts and they said they don’t have such a product. (o.O)

littlegem: I bought it at Raffles City sometime ago. Recently I checked with them but was told that they were out of stock. Today, I went over to one of the counters to check and was told it’s discontinued and replaced by Diorskin Sculpt Concealer at $41. Funny this product is still listed in their international website though. You might want to consider the replacement which seems the same in texture or buy the concealer online from sites like Amazon.
