Shaping via liposuction?

Keira Knightley was told to get a liposuction and I recommend whoever suggest that to get their heads checked.  That slim star doesn’t have an ounce of fat as far as I can see.  Or maybe these people don’t know what is liposuction?

Liposuction is a surgical procedure to sculpt one’s body by removing unwanted fat, usually from the abdomen which are resistant to diet or exercise.  It is one of the most popular plastic surgery but it doesn’t guarantee any weight loss and may involve a very painful recovery.  Women considering this procedure might also want to read more about the process, risks and alternatives,  especially some first-hand testimonies at this plastic surgery forum.

And interestingly, some women who have big tops are even considering this operation, not knowing or being aware that breast reduction surgery is actually more suitable for them.

There are other alternatives to liposuction.  Tummy tucks being one of them.  But really, the best alternatives are still exercising and going on a diet.

Unlike people who choose to go for rhinoplasty, laser hair removal, or laser eye correction because there are no better natural alternatives, overweight can be fixed by natural means.  Liposuction is definitely not the only way to shape the body!

  1. I guess I am one that probably would never venture into plastic surgery not because I am that gorgeous but I am just chickened out by that amount of pain! And I always believe that you must have enough savings to stash away for maintenance every few years after the surgery.

msff: I would only venture if it’s non-invasive. Personal stories from my colleagues are enough to scare me off…
