Great bargains at StrawberryNET

Despite what you see here, this isn’t really a post about Tweezerman Wide Grip Slant Tweezer but it does begin with that.

You see, I was trying to look up this product and I found it at StrawberryNET.com.  I know this website.  In fact, I’ve got it in my resources.  But what I didn’t know until today is that they’re also selling L’Occitane and when I did a check, I found prices of some of the products amazingly lower as compared to the what I’ve gotten at the retail store.

Not everything is cheaper.  Some are more expensive.  But it turned out that a few of the products that I’m currently using are marked down quite a lot in Sin$.  For example:

  • Immortelle Very Precious Cream 50ml S$100 ($143)!!!
  • Brightening Cleansing Foam 150ml $40 ($46).
  • Shea Butter Ultra Rich Body Cream 200ml $60 ($69).
  • Almond Delicious Paste 200ml $58.50 ($69).
  • Almond Milk Concentrate 200ml $62 ($87).

Some of the savings are over 30 percent!  No wonder Doris was telling me that she should have done her research the last time she bought Lumedia as it’s much cheaper at StrawberryNET.  And I couldn’t believe it when I realised that worldwide shipping is free, on top of the fact that they’re providing an extra 5 percent discount if I were to buy 3 products or more!

Well, I don’t know about you but I’m definitely going to do my comparisons at StrawberryNET.com the next time I’m considering a purchase on cosmetics or skincare products.

P/S: Tweezerman Wide Grip Slant Tweezer by the way is available at S$30.  I have a slant tweezer by the same brand which I’ve used for many years to shape my eyebrow.  It’s very precise for picking the finest of hair.  But I’ve dropped it a tad too many times and need a new one now.

  1. Only problem which i’m not sure of if it’s true but I read off some forums that the stuff they sell are very close to expiry dates hence the cheaper prices.

DR: Is that so? I don’t really see why online stores can’t be cheaper since they don’t need to fund a physical store and their overheads are much cheaper. And even with Sasa, there were many negative comments about their products initially as well. Look how far they’ve come…Probably comments planted by their competitors…

  2. Hey gal i have been wanting to ask you where can we get tweezerman’s in Singapore. I got my friend who was travelling to USA to get one for me since my manicare one died on me.

msff: I don’t know. My friend got it for me some years back from a shop here but she said it’s no longer available. You can get it in HK as well…

  3. oh by the way forgot to mention, but I remembered tweezerman’s tweezers have got this lifetime warranty and you can always send it back to USA for sharpening, a little inconvenient unless you have a friend there who can help i guess.

msff: Yes, it does. But the shop is no longer around and it makes things difficult. Buying a new one is probably easier and I do like the new design.

  4. Well, I think I should get a pair of tweezerman after knowing that this is a must-have in your beauty regime.

Doris: It’s won rave reviews all round…
