Jurlique Foaming Facial Cleanser
Monday, 23 July 2007
I love this! Jurlique Foaming Facial Cleanser with tea tree, lavender and herbal antioxidants. It smells good, foams up well and cleans my face thoroughly without stripping it dry. The best part is that I don’t need a lot of it for each wash.
This product is hypo-allergenic and contains rather high concentrations of natural OPC antioxidants and foaming substances in addition to the tea tree and lavender essential oils.
While this is also said to be a cleanser for oily and acne prone skin, it is actually excellent for deep cleansing and yet is gentle enough for all skin types. It removes surface impurities and excess oil, leaving my combination skin clean and extremely refreshed.
The 200ml is retailing at S$61 over the Jurlique counter at Tangs. Pricey yes, but it’s made with natural goodness and it will last awhile.
I ran a check at Jurlique’s website and noticed that the new batch has been replaced with a white bottle with the same name and is going for S$50 at StrawberryNET.com. Those with very oily skin might be interested to know that there is another foaming facial cleanser specially for their skin type and is going for the same price as well.

I break out easily and I heard Jurlique Rose water is good for skins like mine. True?

Happy Feet: I’m not sure about their rose water but I do know that their Herbal Recovery Mist is good. I’m using it now and am quite happy with the results. I know they have it for sensitive skin and apparently, helps to soothe and calm the skin.

How did the herbal recovery mist help?
HF: I’m not using the one for sensitive skin but the SA told me that she has lots of customers who comes back for this mist cos it soothes and calms their skin. You might also want to see Tracy’s comments below. For me, I find it brings radiance to my skin. Will do a review on this later.

Great! I’ll get one to try….. Hey Tracy, do you have same problems like me, breaking out when the face gets too rich with creams? I find that whenever I use too much stuff on my face, after awhile I get bumps especially on my chin and sides of cheeks. When they emerge, it’s so hard to get rid of them even though I stop applying my lotions. Then the vicious cycle starts, that is the suffering of dehydrated skin then I start to itch and get red spots.
Really headache. So I thought maybe I should get the mist to hydrate my skin during times like this.
