YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch
Monday, 13 August 2007The Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat Radiant Touch is dubbed the magic pen brush. I wouldn’t quite say it is that. Instead the word I would use to describe it is functional.
In terms of concealing power, this pen brush isn’t exceptional. It only made my dark undereye circle less noticeable, not cover it totally. But then, this isn’t a concealer. So rightfully, it shouldn’t be expected to conceal. Instead, this is a take-anywhere instant highlighter for adding a touch of light or banishing shadows and signs of fatigue from the eye area, and anywhere else on the face.
What’s I find really cool about YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch is that it is ultra fine, so much so that it can blend very well into makeup and even use as a touch up over existing foundation or powder without any overload.
This product can be used before or after applying foundation, before or after applying powder because it is a micronized powder combined with crystalline and lamellar structured pigments to reflect light and emit radiance on the skin.
And the result is a very even application and definitely no caking according to my experience with it. As a matter of fact, I tried using it over my existing concealer and it still worked well. The trick of course is not to use too much in this case.
But I have to agree that the texture is so airy light, I can afford to use it whenever I need to, even on the same area! Just click twice on the pen brush, apply it on the area and blend in with my fingertips. Very easy!
The YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch is available in four shades, for fair to ethnic skin and is good for touching up and looking fresh. But don’t expect it to be able to cover up your dark circles nor blemishes completely. But your complexion will look better with the highlighter reflecting light and giving your face some glow.
It’s a good product and I would recommend every lady to have one in their bag except that I feel that we are essentially paying the price of S$56 because of the over-hyped. And mind you, the pen brush isn’t long lasting.

Currently I’m using YSL Touche Eclat Radiant Touch to hide my dark circles.. Although it doesn’t cover them all, but it definitely lighten them and now I almost apply it whenever I go out! The best part is it’s not as heavy as normal stick concealer and I always forgot that I’m wearing it..
Iry: Agree. I like the lightness and the fact that it does work to make me look better.
