Next to tote bags, messenger bags are my favorite! I feel instantly cool when I sling one across my body. No wonder celebrities like Cameron Diaz, Mischa Barton and Reese Witherspoon are slinging peppy with their Tods, Gucci and Miu Miu messenger bags.
Like the denim jacket or tee, a messenger bag is both hip and trendy. Plus it has the perfect canvas for customization in terms of putting up your cute pins, buttons, patches or any other embellishments. In fact, the newer designs are looking very boho chic with studs, tassels, toggles, pompoms and fringe.
And did I not say that messenger bags are functional?
