Despite this being a Her World Beauty Awards Editors’ Choice Winner, Vichy Normadern Night Chrono-Active Pore Refining Care just didn’t work for me. Not one bit. I tried using it for at least over a month without any results but I’ve read that it worked for other ladies, keeping their pores tight over time.
When I was buying this product, the Vichy SA actually told me I don’t need it because this is for those with swollen and deformed pores as well as irregular skin texture. But I just wanted to give it a try for my increasingly visible pores and so I gave away S$49 for that.
Vichy Normadern Night Chrono-Active Pore Refining Care is to be used in the night where the sebaceous glands receive a molecular message to start producing sebum. When they become hyperactive, that’s when they go into over-production and pores start to swell, causing them to dilate and slacken.
Vichy Normaderm Night Chrono-Active Pore Refining Care contains Zincadone A and Pore-Permeating technology that creates a completely new epidermis and restructure the pores night after night so skin becomes softer and smoother. The product claims that after 4 weeks, the sebum production is decreased by 29 percent and pores are refined again, almost invisible. Well, that wasn’t true for me at all.
This product, when used over time can also be drying for the skin, especially if you’re sleeping in an air-conditioned room. I don’t like the medicinal smell too but it’s not something that’s overpowering.
Maybe the Vichy SA is right. Perhaps Vichy Normaderm Night Chrono-Active Pore Refining Care only works for those with really huge and deformed pores.

this is indeed for irregular skin texture + acne problem like mine. i have been using it for months and find it does “smooth” my skin texture. but sadly it doesn’t dry my skin out, me and my fountain of oil

Lia: Wahaha…smooth skin ah…flashlight lah. Got visible pores, but maybe not those large ones. I thought if it works on large pores, surely it’ll do wonders for smaller ones. *sigh* But glad it worked for you and gives you smoother skin.
Im a guy and i found it worked instantly on me. I only used it twice.(I am using this after taking Acne medication). My girlfriend purchased it from shoppers drug mart for us.

Hi… I’ve been using it for over a month now.. and it really does work… It has reduced the pore size on my nose…
LAst time, I use to apply it on my whole face… but now I only apply it on my nose…
This was because the area right beside my nose had really not visible pores… but after I applied this product, it sort of made the pores bigger it spread!!
so now I only use it on my nose… and it really is great, for some reason only on my nose..

I got my in Mexico it seams to be working ihave been puting it on two mounths. I paid $85 for it the set how much did everyone eles pay?

Dear All, I bought the Vichy cream over a week ago and must say that I m really happy with it. My skin is smoother pores are tightened and and the skin is less redish with fewer pimples. I hope this great result will continue over time. I think the reason that it might not work for others is because they don’t over produce sebum and the enlarged pores are not the effect of acne related problems. I hope it will help other poeple as well. Take care
