SKIN TORN OFF MY FACE from waxing @ a popular waxing salon in WHEELOCK PLACE!!!!!!!
I just had the most unpleasant experience in a beauty service. And it was right before Chinese New Year too... blimey*

The wound was the length & breadth of a thumb, wet with pus & smarting. I cried like hell and ran around trying to hide my face after the incident, waiting for the wound to heal. I've done waxing on my face before but never had this problem. Something was done wrong.

Just feeling a lil' alone in this unpleasant situation and thought I could share the incident with the gurls and to warn that no matter how much 'quality' beuaty services preach in their mantra, mishaps can happen due to human/ product err.

skin torn: I don't think I get it. Did you mean you did a brazillian wax on your face?

Waxing is very popular. However, after trying 2 sessions, I found them rather painful for me. I opt for IPL instead as it is less painful & the effect is more lasting.

i couldn't stand the shaving and waxing anymore. i've been trying laser hair removal and it's fantastic.

Lena: It's painless? And how long does it last?

omg stacy..poor dear.that sounds painful..crap, some people should be careful. ive been planning Brazilian waxes for the longest time, but im kinda scared after reading what some of you have commented..skin? i have a low tolerance 2 pain.....

omg: If you really want to do it, it's best to go through recommendations and find out who is skilful at these. Some the experiences are scary I agree...

Ok.... I had an experience today that I am having tears over... I had a bikini (almost brazilian) wax a few weeks ago... loved it .. glad I did it.. but today I went and decided to have it all off... well I freaked... I too, had skin ripped off... I am still bleeding and not sure what to put there.. I have to wear a pad and can barely walk... should I take a cool bath? I don't want an infection there... I'm freaking out.. I called my gyno, but had to leave a message.. .HELP!
