Benefit Cosmetics arrived within schedule
Monday, 18 February 2008My loot from Benefit Cosmetics arrived today, 13 days after I placed my order online. Their estimated date of arrival was tomorrow so the entire delivery was within schedule. In fact, I was expecting a slight delay because many ladies on the forums were complaining of receiving their orders three or four weeks later and some even claimed that their emails never got replied. Well, it all went well with my order and I’ll be happy enough to order again if their products perform.

Swirl pretty in vintage inspired fashion
Friday, 15 February 2008These vintage inspired dresses and skirts are tailored by two girls from Singapore who love to swirl in front of the mirror in their self-tailored dresses.
Pretty breezy dresses, v necks, polka dots, satin waistbands, draped capelet, neat bows, and black ruffles. Most of their clothes are full of feminine appeal designed to be flattering on us even on days when we’re not looking our best. I especially like their new satin tinsey dress which is roomy enough yet helps us look slim on days when water retention hits.
Also check out their line of vintage handbags and clutches which are totally complementary to their designs.

Brazilian wax to keep the nether region tidy
Wednesday, 13 February 2008Being in Asia, it’s impossible to miss reading about the Edison Chen scandal mania that is so riveting within the Asian celebrity scene currently especially with the hundreds of photos that are out there on the Net. Some bits of the information are so hilarious, like someone who commented why Edison would enjoy women who looked like goats from their waist down. The women, in particular Cecilia Cheung and Gillian Chung were lambasted not for the racy pictures, but for the fact that they didn’t go for Brazilian Waxes to keep their nether region clean and tidy. And this got me really curious. Is Brazilian wax the norm now?

Sukin Organic Botanical Body Wash
Tuesday, 12 February 2008
When I first used Sukin Organic Botanical Body Wash, I wasn’t wowed by it. While it had a refreshing smell, but I found it less than intoxicating enough for me. However, this body wash gets better with each bath.
I actually grew to love the enriched aromatic botanicals aroma, a combination of tangerine, mandarin, lavender and vanilla extract therapeutic oils. And if we compare the price of this vs other organic or botanical body wash, this is definitely worth the price tag.
I also love how soft my skin feels after each wash, thanks to the skin softening jojoba, avocado and rose hip oils. And I really appreciate that this body wash uses only 100% natural active ingredients and contains no sodium lauryl sulphate, artificial fragrances, petrochemicals, harsh detergents, animal derivatives, mineral oil and parabens.
