Pond’s Flawless White Visibly Day Cream
Wednesday, 5 March 2008Pond’s Flawless White Visibly Lightening Day Cream is especially formulated for Asian skin and is said to give visibly lighter skin by reducing blemishes and dark spots in just seven days.
The product contains contain VAO-B3, which is Pond’s Institute’s patented complex of Vitamin E, Allantoin, Optics and Niacinamide that works hard on dark blemishes and gets straight to work, reducing the visible appearance of dark spots.
I’ve never used Pond’s skin care before but I definitely remember my mum did. I believe some of their products are quite good, going by the rather high ratings from the ladies at Makeupalley. But 7 days to reduce blemishes and dark spots? That’s a bit hard to believe.
I don’t think this product is launched here yet (I could be wrong) but the product is currently available in The Philippines and in China and you can even catch Lust, Caution starlet Tang Wei (汤唯) endorsing the product in the Chinese version of the TV commercial at Pond’s China. But we already know she has flawless white skin to start with don’t we?

I saw this few months ago in Thailand and had tested it on my hand. The texture remembered me of Hazeline Snow (very old version). It sell cheap too.

I recently saw an informercial for Ponds cream in Beijing that I regarded as very disturbing and racist. Basically the theme of the infomercial was that unless a woman had white skin she was otherwise unhappy and ugly; black and dark skin was equated to ugliness and unhapiness. This is racist rot and is an AWFUL reflection on the self-esteem of those women (and men) who fall for this rubbish as well as being a terrible indictment on the makers and promoters of this sorry product. Black is beautiful too!!
Uwant Tono: Unfortunately, the media continues to perpetuate that white is beautiful and women continue to fall for that. I agree that black is beautiful too…

Black is beautiful. I wish I were black sometimes. But the product is focused on treating uneven skin tone and blemishes. The commercials are overhyped though. I will be trying this product for an uneven skin tone soon.
Win: I hope it’ll work for you if you do get it…

I have Pond’s Flawless White cleansing foam. It’s a really pretty pearly tube that shines white and pink. I wouldn’t say the product delivers *lasting* effects, but for me it did deliver immediate and noticeable effects. Just for example, I used it this afternoon and when my boyfriend came home later today he commented that my face looked paler. The cleanser also has micro exfoliating beads as well as a smooth foamy lather. My skin feels pretty great afterwards! =)
Stefani: Oh that’s great! I’m glad it worked for you. I suppose the product has an instant brightening effect.

I have dry skin yesterday i got your ponds Flawless white cream but whenever i use this cream as well as its becomes very dry and feel also very dry what I con do please suggest me i am waiting for your suggestion pleas send
Thriveni: Hi, like you, I’m just a consumer and I just wrote this entry about Ponds. I am not associated with the brand in anyway.
Where did you get the product? Is there a sales staff you can speak with? The cream is probably not moisturizing enough for you. One suggestion is to apply a light oil underneath before you use this moisturizer. Grapeseed oil would be suitable.

Hi, Anyone know if this cream is non-comdogenic and suitable for oily skin thanks!

hi
where can i buy this cream in london.
May 10th, 2009 at 1:10 am
There are Pond’s flawless white that are non comodogenic and you can buy them on ebay if it is not availbale in your country. If you wan’t I can buy it for you…
I have used so manf face creams, from ANew from AVON, Revitalift, White Perfect and Pure Zone by L’OREAL and Olay total effects but non of them give visible dramatic results in just 7 days! In fact I have seen the results just after 3 days of use by their intensive whitening serum.
This product is not being racist. It’s a matter of culture and preference. In the US tanned skin is very in while in Asia white skin is always desirable.
I’m sure one day POND’S will create flawless black for those who want to achieve a darker skin tone in just 7 days!

If you’re looking to lighten your skin, then it should also be suitable. However, I can’s say whether it will work or not, even for Asian skin.

The product is more targeted at whitening. Not sure if it’s moisturizing enough for dry skin though. Why don’t you try the tester at the counters?

Please note that this is a blog and it does not represent Pond at all. I’m also a consumer writing from my point of view. You’ll need to write to Pond directly or check with the shop you’ve purchased the item from.

In all honesty I love pounds but it’s not a miracle cure in that it helps anyone who uses it, unfortunately. I’ve had friends who benefited beautifully from using ponds white beauty and others who had an outbreak of pimples. so it really depends on your skin. I’m really interested in the flawless white line since many people have said it works wonders, but yes patience is a virtue.
