Isopropyl myristate is the ester of isopropyl alcohol. It aids penetration and promotes a dry feeling so that product does not feel so greasy. However, it is on the same level as cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcoho, which are fatty alcohols and works as emollients.

Personally, I think it’s drying to use long term so not great if used on face.

It’s the same one?? They didn’t know when I checked with them & they even called up isetan outlet. ahhh I just order from sephora website ( via a spree) hee it’s ok..I alway looking out for anything that can help my sensitive skin

Jac: Yes. Yuskin is from Japan but they market it as Yu-Be in US. The packaging is slightly different. I also didn’t know the availability here until a reader pointed out. So sorry…I clean forgot about the difference in name. Well, if you like it after using the one from the spree, you know where to get. There’s also a moisturizer if I’m not wrong.

Hi I went down yesterday. The staff has never heard of yu-be cream.

Jac: Oh okay, it’s not known as Yu-Be in Asia but Yuskin (original name in Japan). Sorry I also forgot! I checked with the staff at Nishino at Taka basement about 2 or 3 months back and they showed me the stock.
