Hi,
I was wondering...would one get a comparable result by taking kelp supplement, eat lots of alfalfa and apply face oils containing vit C and/or vit E? I have no idea where the gluconates come from. I just feel that there must be a cheaper alternative to this 'miracle cream' out there :).

Off topic: I have learned so much from your blog on facial oil, natural ingredients, and anti-aging. I'd like to know a little bit more about it and I am considering of buying a book (which I can also read during my vacation soon). Have you read books on these subjects in the past? Which one(s) would you recommend? Thanks in advance!

evynoppie: It has to be a two-prong approach based on your diet as well as what you use. I'm going to try out the Egyptian Magic Cream soon and will compare if it's better than La Mer cos it's so much cheaper!

As for books, I would recommend you to get hold of The Organic Pharmacy by Margo Marrone. It's a new release but I read the excerpt and it's very promising for a read on natural/organic beauty. Or check out the library... I have forgotten some of the titles and can't put it down off hand now.
