Lavera Basis Sensitive Handcreme

This Lavera Basis Sensitiv HandCreme must be new stock because I definitely wouldn’t have missed it at a price tag of only S$5! There’s not a lot of cream in that 30ml but still, I think it’s well worth the price tag with its organic content such as almond oil, shea butter and jojoba seed oil. It’s pretty rich on contact but yet, it’s actually a light formula because the cream absorbs quickly into the skin and does not leave an oily film. The skin on my hands felt soft and supple and I love the travel size!

Ingredients:
Water, Shea Butter*, Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, Soybean Oil*, Grain Alcohol, Glycerin, Hydrogenated Palm Glycerides, Stearic Acid, Jojoba Seed Oil*, Cellulose, Sweet Almond Oil*, Hydrogenated Lecithin, Vitamin E Acetate, Xanthan Gum, Lysolecithin, Calendula Flower Extract*, German Chamomile Extract*, Lecithin, Vitamin E, Rapeseed Sterols, Vitamin C Ester
Natural Essential Oils: Citral*, Geraniol*, Limonene*, Linalool*
* = certified organic

Okay, this hand cream has a strong Calendula smell which not everyone will appreciate. But it’s fine for me although I wish it is something sweeter. Still, it’s a great buy at only S$5. However, I noticed that this product is only available at selected Watsons.

    Hello!
    I have been really thinking about hand care lately searching around for something with powerfully anti-oxidants to protect my hand from damage. Thanks for this post!! let me know if you know if any hand creams like that! on Leon’s forum I am ComplexBeuty.

    Alyssa: Try handcreams with SPF. I can’t think of anything now but if I do, I’ll post it on the forum. Lately, I’ve been apply sunscreen even to the hands and at night, I use a shea butter cream on them. They’re looking better.

    I love the lavera handcream! My only gripe is the packaging - it’s too small! I like Sukin’s hand cream as well.

    flym: I thought you might like them. :) Yes, too small. But at that price, I thought it was okay. I’ve tried Sukin’s hand cream but I didn’t buy it though. Not too bad.

    hi do you know which of watson is it available ? thanks :)

    Miyo: I got it at Compass Point. You might be able to find this at the larger Watsons which carry the entire Lavera range.

    My hands are pretty atrocious as I’m known for washing my hands more than I should and never moisturizing.

    When I do want them to look their best I use Elizabeth Arden’s Eight Hour cream. It literally works overnight and transforms my hands into a normal state.

    I wish I were diligent enough to use it every night.

    Elaine: I know many rave about the Eight Hour cream. I don’t mind it but I’ve since come across better ones.
