I have tried some of the elf products and they are good such as the Brushes, Mineral Foundation, Studio lines, etc. Bought at valueshopping.multiply.com, start from S$4 (they give shipping discount plus free item for purchasing certain quantity).

Windy: Thanks for the link.

I've tried the lip gloss & they are quite good. The eyeshawdow case breaks easily though.

fwy: I've never tried the eyeshadow.

I agree, I was thinking of picking up some at sasa as I've tried elf and find them affordable and value for money, but SG$6.90 is such a ridiculously high markup for a US$1 product I would never buy elf from sasa. I understand a markup, but not a 4x markup.

AL: Yup, my sentiments too...

why complain the $6.90 price? in USA, of course it's USD1.. they r the manufacturer. But have you considered the other details to bring the products into Singapore? Such as Cosmetic licence (you have to pay for the licence you know), shipping cost, GST, Shop rent, utility bills, workers.. blah blah blah ... ELF website selling USD1 coz they sell them ONLINE. No need rent, etc etc... sometimes consumers have to think of all the going ons behind this...=P.

Lynn: Sure we know there are overheads (maybe not as knowledgeable as you seem to be) but the barrier is psychological. $1 is a magical number and $6.90 is not. We don't expect it to be $1 of course, but the number could be made more comfortable. $5 would be good. Anyway, ELF occupies a small teeny place at Sasa so how much overhead does that really incur???
