For 2009, I have started raiding my fridge for DIY skincare. THe thing I love most about it other than it's cheap, is that if I were to make too much, I'll just eat the rest. HAHA! Ms Blacklace: Yeah it is...but do be careful too cos while DIY is great, some ingredients can cause breakouts too. So just use with caution and I hope your skin is not the sensitive type.

Hi Ann, thanks, I just googled and found some info. Turns out there’s a store nearby that sells natural hair dye, yes, it’s henna based. I’ll let you all know how it works out once I do try it.

I do agree! i care about the ingredients more!!! Before, i just purchase based on popularity and brand name, now I am getting smarter! So are most of the consumers

Hey Elaine,

I think some have used Henna or Chinese herbs as alternatives. I’ve never tried those before so I can’t comment. But you can probably google herbal hair dye for products. =)

I wish I could cover my gray hairs with something other than chemicals.

Any suggestions from anyone?
