Many years ago, I always used beer as a final rinse on my hair. Don’t even know why I stopped doing it; probably decided I preferred drinking the beer!*LOL* Anyway, the point is that it made my hair very shiny, gave a lot of body to my fine locks, and the smell dissipates very quickly once the hair has dried. I think I’ll start using it again; it really works!

Beer for your hair – only makes your hair stinks!

Strawberries a good source for Vitamin C but not for smearing on your teeth as it will erode your enamel like pineapples.

Nora: Beer does make hair shiny I believe. Stinks too! As for strawberries, it’s something I wouldn’t recommend using it daily. Maybe once in awhile before a party or something…

I cannot believe that I can say “I’ve tried beer” on my hair. I was a teenager and had no idea how to condition my frizzy long locks, so I tried whatever I read.

The Watson’s beer mask is okay — I rem it worked well and it smelled quite nice.

astrorainfall: I guess the mask worked different for different hair types. Btw, do you remember how the real beer fared on your frizzy long locks? Did it helped control the frizz?

I have tried beer on my hair and it gives my hair a lovely shine. I am also obsessed with honey:)
