It is quite strange to get a reaction from the oil as it's so nourishing.

That's strange but if it doesn't suit you, then it's best not to use it. How about your body? Can you use the oil on your body instead?

Unfortunately I had a severe allergic reaction to sea buckthorn oil. After just 2 nights of using it, my skin was totally inflammed - hot. red, burned, puffy and peeled. My eyes felt extremely itchy too. It's not common for me to be allergic to natural organic products, but this is one of the few.

Hi Audrina I've assumed you are in Australia since you've provided a link with a .au extension.

I have found that http://www.seabuckthornoil.com.au is a great site to order from & the support is very quick at responding any enquiries.

I've personally bought sea buckthorn oil just because I saw Doctor Oz (whom is my ideal!!) promoting it for the skin & gums. Basically I applied some on my canker sores & gave some to my beautiful daughter who unforunately has eczema on her right cheek &.... VOILA!

After just 2 days! My canker sore was gone which was absolutely terrific!!

My daughter on the other hand still has eczema though the sea buckthorn oil seems to be moisturizing the skin very well.

Well she loves the smell of it anyway which is deffinetly a plus for me too.

I honestly think if you have done your research & are confident Sea buckthorn oil may work for you then go on & try it as it does not have any side effects.

By the way I live in the U.S & normally shop buy my products from SIBU but since they don't have the fruit & seed oil combination I buy from seabuckthornoil.com.au

Wow I can't believe how much I've written I guess I must be real bored especially since I've been in front of the computer for almost 3 hours now.

Well I better go out for some fresh air take care everyone!
