Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream

I was so excited last night when I came upon a spree for the Egyptian Magic Cream that is used and raved by many Hollywood celebrities including Madonna and Oprah Winfrey. Gosh, it sounds even better that Creme de la Mer because it is supposedly an all-in-one natural skin healing balm that includes olive oil, bees wax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly and bee propolis. I read that this all purpose cream is even popular among many plastic surgeons, who recommend it to their patients for accelerating the healing of plastic surgery scars. Woah…doesn’t that sound a tad like our popular BB cream too?
Described as an ancient Egyptian secret magic formula for radiant and beautiful skin, this cream can be used as a skin moisturizer, make up remover, massage oil as well as to heal cuts and scrapes, blisters and burns, diaper and skin rash, chicken pox, stretch marks, sunburn, insect bites, cold sores, chapped lips, and even as a shaving cream plus hair conditioner!
I know this sounds like something from a snake-oil salesman but I was pretty impressed when I read the reviews at Makeup Alley where this product was rated 4.1 out of 5 by 33 users. You can also read a first hand review of the product where a beauty blogger Tao showed how the cream has cleared some of her acne marks.
One piece of good news for us is that the cream is sold at True Colours Makeup Cosmetics located at Ngee Ann City, #B1-13A in Singapore but it’s like S$79.90 for the 4oz tub. Online, the product costs US$36 at the Egyptian Cream website but I found another cheaper alternative
I would love to get this to try but unfortunately I missed the spree because it closed almost as quickly as it opened. Hopefully another spree will open soon on this product because I’m not so keen to spend S$79.90 in case it doesn’t work for me.
So any of you gals have tried this product? If so, please share your experience to feed my curious mind and itchy skin!

Wow it sounds good! And if this product is way better than BB creams than I’m going for it! If anyone is keen to do a spree please lmk! I would love to have 1 for myself! =)
Dee: I was contemplating but I thought I better not cos I don’t have experience doing it. I’ll wait for the sprees at sgspree.

What is a spree? Anyway, I think a 4 oz jar is pretty sizeable. Maybe a few gals can buy together to share out the cost and then scoop the product out into tiny sample pots. Sounds like a miracle…yay!
Domestic Goddess: A spree is where one takes the lead to organise the shopping, get some others to join to save the shipping cost. It’s very popular in Singapore.
The 4oz is sizeable – some gals are actually doing what you’ve suggested but I want the pot cos I want to try this on the spots found on my body.

I haven’t heard of this cream but the ingredient list looks fabulous, beepollen, bee propolis and royal jelly,all in one, wow! I take this 3 in 1 supplement internally but have never tried it topically. Probably I could write about this supplement this week, I am running out of ideas for my blog post,lol

It sounds nice but I wonder about the exact ingredients list and the extraction and production process.

Dee II: Confusion? Anyway, I have the same thoughts as you – I doubt they list all their ingredients and I wonder if there are other stuff in there…

Oh just to clarify: by exact ingredients list as in… if the formula is still the same as it was years ago, I’d wonder if it is paraben and sulfate-free.

I’ll wait until I get a job to get this one, it really sounds too good to be true.
Anyway, the miracle cream that I’ve discovered lately has been around for decades, it’s Elizabeth Ardens Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant.
I’ve recently been spreading a thin layer of it over my acne and acne marks and it seems to heal them very slowly but does so without and drying out of the skin at all. Funny that it keeps it moist yet helps it heal, I don’t understand it at all.
Look it up for reviews, it gets good reviews all round. I’ve only been using it for two weeks now, so I’m no expert.
Elaine: Yes, this product gets quite a good review but I haven’t tried this cream per se. The one I used for hands isn’t so great though…

I’ve been having my eyes on this product but have been hesitating to buy, cos it sounds too good to be true! Don’t want to waste the money on disappointment. So, i’ll be waiting to read yr review. =)
Ann: I just placed my order. So yeah, wait for my review though I’m not sure when I can get this product. I know what you mean about wasting money…that is why I’m so unwilling to buy from True Colors. The spree cost me about half the cost only and if it’s no good for my face, I can use it on my body and feet!

Does anyone have any reviews of the cream? I used to be a big fan of bee products, and am curious to know if you guys are happy with the cream. Did it mosturize well? Other visible effects? Any input would be appreciated.

Hi
I just bought the Egyptian magic cream and i know most people says to use at night times but if i do use it only at night, should i carry on using my usual moisteriser in the morning? or do you think it will be too much for skin and just stick one thing?

If you don’t use both of them at the same time, it should be fine. The Egyptian Magic Cream is rather greasy in texture so you might want to use a little first to see how your skin reacts.

I’ve been using this cream for a few weeks, and was disappointed. It moisturized (but wouldn’t get rid of the stubborn dry patches on my cheeks) and didn’t irritate my skin, but it wasn’t MIRACLE cream. I’ve had better results with Cliniques hydrating facial masks. This stuff could only be applied at night before going to bed, because it left my face sticky and oily for hours.

I’ve been using this cream for a couple months and its effects have literally amazed me. I was extremely skeptical at first, like most of you, and believe me when I tell you my skin is allergic to EVERYTHING. I have tried nearly every brand of every skin cream and lotion I could name, and nothing ever works. I bought the Egytian Magic cream by suggestion from the place I get my legs waxed because I was having problems with getting ingrown hairs on my legs, and I will never use another product. It had results I didn’t even expect, for example, it got rid of all the acne I had on my face, although it hasn’t completely gotten rid of the stretch marks I have on my legs, they are significantly lighter and harder to see, and I haven’t gotten a single ingrown hair. On top of that, it makes my skin feel great and gives me a more even tone. I put it on before I go to bed and first thing in the morning after I wash my face. I use a primer on my face before putting on makeup, and the oily texture of the cream doesn’t show through the primer or any of my makeup. I would highly recommend trying it, you’ll be hooked.

That’s a good tip…using this for post waxing. I think it’ll be great to avoid the ingrown hair.
