DIY Beauty: Nutmeg to erase acne scars

nutmeg-honey

Nutmeg, a cooking and baking spice, is often cited as a kitchen ingredient which you can use for your acne scars and blemished marks. Review: Muji unbleached facial cotton pads

Muji unbleached facial cotton pads

I have to rave about these unbleached facial cotton pads from Muji. I bought them because I remember a reader, fwy, had left a comment about them in my entry Are organic facial cotton better for our skin?

Super soft and absorbent
They have a fabulously soft texture and are very absorbent but don’t dry up so quickly on me. Definitely way better than my Suzuran Attirer Facial Puffs and even The Body Shop Organically Grown Facial Cotton Rounds because my toner dries up far quicker on these two, leaving me with no choice but to pour out more toner.

How to have your nail polish done in 5 mins?

Nail Polish Tools

For those who do your own nails, you should know that getting your nails done salon style can be time consuming. I remember someone telling me she takes about 45 minutes to do her own pedicure. So how is it possible for me to get mine done in 5 minutes?

The trick lies in not getting everything done at once.

Typically, I do my own pedicure once a fortnight. The full works from removing my oil polish, pushing my cuticles, exfoliating my feet, trimming my nails to layering the new polish.
