Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream

egyptian-magic-cream1

I was so excited last night when I came upon a spree for the Egyptian Magic Cream that is used and raved by many Hollywood celebrities including Madonna and Oprah Winfrey. Gosh, it sounds even better that Creme de la Mer because it is supposedly an all-in-one natural skin healing balm that includes olive oil, bees wax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly and bee propolis. I read that this all purpose cream is even popular among many plastic surgeons, who recommend it to their patients for accelerating the healing of plastic surgery scars. Woah…doesn’t that sound a tad like our popular BB cream too?

Soap making resources & recipe calculator

delicious-cupcake-soaps

Wouldn’t you like to take a bite into these delicious looking cupcakes? I know I would. But unless I want my mouth to foam, I should really refrain from doing so if I come face to face with these. Because these are cupcake soaps and they’re not edible! I found them at Morgan Street Patisserie while surfing the web for soap making information.   Honestly, I probably won’t use them at all because they’re so pretty!  As it is, I couldn’t even bear to use the Hello Kitty and hippo soaps I’ve made in my last DIY workshop.

Can we use men’s skin care products?

loreal-men-expert

I think it’s pretty normal that our partner or spouse share our skin care products. For example, my husband is always a prime candidate for stuff I don’t want to use anymore and these include facial cleansers, toners, moisturizers and even sunscreens. However, with the development of more skin care products targeting men specifically, is the reverse true? Can we use their products on our skin?
(Though I can’t find any reason why we would want to do that really…)

Is Sea Buckthorn Oil a miracle worker?

sea-buckthorn-oil

I first learnt of Sea Buckthorn oil from Leon at her beauty forum Glowing Diva where she posted about how the oil can help combat wrinkles. And because it was available at Whoopeekiddies, I ordered a bottle to try out.

DIY Beauty: Aloe Vera for deep cleansing

fresh-aloe-vera

My mum used to have numerous pots of Aloe Vera in her garden when I was younger. She would cut up the leaves of the bigger plants and make juice out of them to drink. I never drank them because I found the juice yucky. In fact, I consider the gel of Aloe Vera yucky too because of the slimy feel. However, I do know the goodness of Aloe Vera for both its health and beauty benefits and used the gel quite a bit as a teenager to apply on my wounds and burns although I’ve never resorted to using it for my pimples before.
