Maybe you have seen it, maybe you have not. But the stands have been set up and at the Watsons outlet I frequent, it’s already on public display. Noticeably missing were the goods on the stand though.

I just had a new hairdo about two weeks ago. My hairstylist gave me something different from my usual; something edgy he said. It was rather short but it’s growing to look a lot nicer now so I’m happy. He thinks the haircut will last me well into another two to three months before I see him again.
I’ve been too busy to experiment with more new DIY recipes this week but have come across some interesting ones I read at TotalBeauty.com that I’ll like to try. These are a series of recipes meant to help relieve our stress and they include:
- Relaxing Foot Soak
- Cleopatra Milk Bath
- Papaya Face Mask
- Honey Hair Pack
- Lavender Spritzer
- Super Muscle Soothing Soak
This probably sound really corny but this product always get me singing the song Walk Like An Egyptian by The Bangles complete with silly dance moves. This is why both my husband and my son are very well acquainted with this product and they know it’s called the Egyptian Magic Cream.
Pei Fang’s guest post reviewing the La Roche-Posay Uvidea XL opened up some questions regarding SPF and PPD. I thought I’ll do a quick post to clarify.
SPF rating pertains to protection from UVB rays only
SPF as you most probably already know, stands for Sun Protection Factor and measures the amount of protection from UVB rays or how long you are protected from burning. The SPF rating is calculated by comparing the amount of time needed to produce a sunburn on protected skin to the amount of time needed to cause a sunburn on unprotected skin. A higher SPF does not translate to better protection. I’ve written about this before and all I would say here is you’re good with a sunscreen offering SPF30 protection level.
