I'm not fair skinned, so mineral sunscreen has always been tough for me, but it's definitely the ONly way to go with kids! Green Healthy Baby (www.greenhealthybaby.com) has all sunscreens on sale (and there's a coupon code, mom10, for 10% off so it makes them really affordable!). I use my baby's sunscreen daily on my face year-round too. Thanks for all your info!

Hey Sesame,

How in the world am I going to get my paws on this sunscreen? US$44.99 makes me feel faint haha

Blair: There's one that's under $40 and the ingredients sounds almost similar. Yes, it's rather costly compared to what's out there but I justify on the basis that I use this in place of a moisturizer and I can probably use it for about half a year?

have you tried avene mineral sunscreen before?

Shin: No, I was looking at one of their sunscreens containing Tinsorb but it's very expensive! Plus it feels a tad rich for me.

Hi Sesame, I am also in constant prusuit of my perfect sunscreen. Like you, I am also concerned about Keys sunblock because of its nano-particles. Although I really like Keys, I am eyeing other options too. Have you heard of an Australia brand "Invisible Zinc"? I learned about it from a forum, and just received my order of a tinted sunblock (18% zinc) and an environmental protection sunblock (20%). It is too soon to say much about these products, but so far the tint is perfect for my skin (fair Asian), and the environmental skin protector 30+ is also good (lighter than Keys but smell just like oil sunscreen). Anyway, just thought that it might be a good thing to share with people who are also into mineral sunblock.

Hippo: Hey thanks for sharing! I've not heard of the brand and will go and check out more info on it. But from what you've described, it sounds interesting!
