The sun is out and the UV index is high. You definitely need to wear your sunscreen. But, wait. Are you using the right sunscreen and is your skin well protected? Is a sunscreen containing SPF50 all you need? And do you know what’s the difference between a physical sunscreen and a chemical sunscreen?
Well, Total Beauty has a quiz to test your sun knowledge to see how much you really know about sunscreen and sun safety.

quite a fun quiz this is. i got 8 correct!
Prettybeautiful: 8 out of 10 is quite good lah! But yes, I found the quiz quite useful so that’s why decided to post. Glad you had some fun!
Woo hoo!!! Got full marks!!
Mainly got all the knowledge from reading ParisB and your blog.
Heehee
Ms Blacklace: That’s great!
Hey sesame, I got 8! haha…
Btw, I tried the Yuan soap, Wild Patchouli Soap. I use it for my body, primarily to get rid of the pimples/clogging on my arms. So far I have used for about 3 weeks (on and off since I have been out of town). I cannot say that my problem is solved but I can definately say that there are results. My skin is smoother and my arms less itchy. So, I don’t scratch them and try to squeeze them anymore. Next, I’m gonna try the mung bean one to reduce the pigmentation on my arms.
pf: I recently tried wild mugwort…not so fantastic for me. The mung bean really whitens my face and possibly have some effects on the smaller pigmented spots but not so obvious.
dear pf1123, i used the wild patchouli about 3 bars worth for my back acne. it really helped to reduce and clear the pus-inflammed pimples on my back and body. i still get pimples but it’s on its slow long journey to recovery. now using the mung bean. it has this really spicy smell! i think it’s from the cinnamon and clove essential oils that they use for the mung bean soap…
Raelynn: The Mung Bean stings my eyes sometimes if I’m not careful…
Wow…need to use 3 bars?!
Mine is not exactly acne. They are like little clogged pores on my arms.
Ive used the Mung bean too, so far, I think I tend to sting my eyes most with that pretty often. >..<
Valerie: You too? So I’m not alone. Anyway, I have used half a bar and has stopped using it on my face now. I find it a bit harsh even though it doesn’t really dry out. So the rest I’m using on my body.
Yay ^.^ I got 10 out of 11.
Cilla: Haha…that’s an excellent score!
