loccitane-ma-creme-nature1

My interest in L’Occitane was recently renewed after noticing that more of their products are indeed organic, with certification from ECOCERT. Most recently, they launched an interesting product in US and it’s the Ma Crème Nature which is a 100% natural origin moisturizing cream that you can prepare at home and keep in your refrigerator.

A truly beautiful experience at True Beauty

True Beauty

It’s been awhile since I last went for a facial service. I stop going for them regularly because I didn’t feel these services did anything dramatic for my skin and when I do go for them, it’s more like a pampering session for myself. Inflammation theory of aging
While researching into the subject, I came across information by Dr. Nicholas Perricone, a famous dermatologist who came up with the Perricone Promise, which some of you may have heard or are familiar. Dr. Perricone is also considered to be the father of the inflammation theory of aging (source).

Chemical vs physical sunscreen
By now, I believe most of you are already fairly familiar with the difference between chemical and physical sunscreens.  For those who don’t, chemical sunscreens contain synthetic chemical substances to absorb UV radiation while physical sunscreens contain inert mineral particles specifically zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide to reflect UV rays like a mirror.  However, I’ve also mentioned that physical sunscreens may actually reflect and absorb UV rays in my entry mineral-based sunscreens are the best.
