Not exactly sure since normally wax are mostly associated with oil and liquid for emulsion. My guess is for easier application cos I remember such ingredients are also used in some eye makeup?

Oh wow, the DIY serum worked for you! That’s good cos I’m sometimes worried that stuff I recommend don’t work on others.

The Aubrey Organics base is quite cool. I forgot to talk about the brush though. It comes with the brush as you see in the first picture but it’s pretty much useless to me cos it’s too small and the bristles are quite stiff. I use my normal kabuki brush which is able to lift the powder well.
