Natural Beauty Inside Out

I’ve been rather intrigued with the rich minerals found in the water and mud of the Dead Sea. They are 100% natural and is said to provide beautifying benefits as well as therapeutic powers even on very sensitive skin.

Finally I received my Steam Cream after a long wait! I ordered this through a spree and for the first time, I have to deal with a spree organizer who was highly irresponsible and inefficient. Anyway, this product doesn’t fall under natural or organic but it’s very interesting. I first learnt of it from a reader, Min Sin, who told me she loved the cream and indeed, I have to agree with her. In fact I would add that using Steam Cream can be addictive!

At the True Beauty Open House Workshop last Saturday where Managing Director Susan Foo provided us with an insightful discussion about All Natural Skin Care Vs Commercial Counter Products in the Market, I learnt that our makeup can absorb more energy from the sun and possibly lead to color toxicity and pigmentation problems. According to Susan, the chemical colorants in makeup can give our skin an uneven, sallow tone - something I remember my mom telling me when I was younger.

I’m not much of a makeup junkie so even though I have come across I Nuovi at Sa Sa Cosmetics, I haven’t used their products before. I do know however, that their Pro Lash is rather popular as I have seen it mentioned in some of the beauty blogs. Anyway I had the chance to visit their concept store at Suntec City over the weekend to pick up two products that I will be reviewing in time and to take pictures for the giveaway. (Yes! Read till the end for the details!)
Although I don’t always wear matching earrings and necklaces but I do prefer matching jewelry sets. At the least, I’ll like to ensure that they are in the same color group. I’ll usually pick my choice of necklace first which means the earrings will just have to fit somehow. And if the seller does not have a matching pair in her store, I’ll usually ask for one to be made.
