I was introduce to FITFLOP by a friend, before fitflop wa s available in Malaysia.I had been using FITFLOP for 5 months now. 1st month I only wear fitflop when i went out, but now I have a 2nd pair to wear at home. NO MORE KNEE PAIN NOW!! (I use to suffer from knee pain, recommended to go for injection that cost more than 1k)

[...] I’ve been gripped by a shoe mania and was really in the mood for some new footwear yesterday. Originally, I had planned to get a pair of new heels but ended up with this! Skechers Tone-ups Meow Wedge Sandal complete with stitching accents and center disk detail. Doesn’t it resemble a FitFlop? Well, it seems to work like one too as it is said to tone and strengthen muscles in back, buttocks and legs as well as promote weight loss with regular use. The key difference is that Skechers Tone-ups sandals feature a unique, soft kinetic wedge insert and dynamic rolling bottom to mimic the sensation of walking barefoot over soft ground. Actually I couldn’t really tell the difference because it feels as comfortable as my FitFlop but retails at a lower price tag! I even saw one in the same design as my Electra FitFlop!
Ah...I agree that flip flops as a whole are not good for our feet when used for long hours. But I feel that Fitflops are different because they provide shock absorption - I feel it is even better than Birkies. Unless you're wearing the wrong size, you don't have to use your toes to grip on to the sandals. There are also no friction from the strap.

Actually, it feels more like a sandal to me, but designed in flip flop style.
