Review of Zuii organic lipstick & a promotion

Zuii Organic Lipsticks

I love the organic makeup range from Zuii Organic. My favorites are the liquid and creme foundation as well as the blush, which I’ve been using daily. Recently, I had the opportunity of trying Zuii Certified Organic Flora Lipstick in Sugar Plum, compliments from the Australia company. Abbi of Zuii had informed me that their lipsticks are very moisturizing and having tried one now, I have to agree.

Brilliant color with full coverage
The first thing I noticed about the Zuii Certified Organic Flora Lipstick is the brillant color. Sugar plum is a pretty color but it’s so rich, a little already gives a full coverage. In fact, I had to be careful not to apply too much or risk having my lips become the focal point. I also did not need to apply a lip balm prior to using this lipstick as it contains a number of nourishing oils such as sunflower oil, castor oil and jojobal oil. It gives shine on its own and I didn’t need any more gloss for that purpose too.

The good news for local readers is that the full range of Zuii Organic Flora Makeup is now available in Singapore! Zuii Organic Flora Liptint

Special promotion for local readers at Bud Cosmetics
From now till 30 August 2009, you can get any of the nine Zuii Organic Flora Liptints at a 25% discount.  Additionally, local customers can enjoy free shipping of the Zuii Organic products if they order the items online.  Just quote Viva Woman when purchasing at the store or when ordering online at www.budcosmetics.com.

You can read my review of the Zuii Organic Floral Makeup range to find out about their performance.  I kind of like the Zuii Organic Liptint despite the powdery texture, which Eric said could be due to the shimmery mica.  The product gives good coverage and sufficient shine and it is not sticky at all. So definitely something to consider if you’re in the market for an organic lip product!

It does turn out nicely on the lips. I just have to remember not to over apply!

Looks like something that I would like. I hate all the fuss of putting lip balm, then lipstick and gloss. Probably will drop by the store soon! Thanks for the intro.

Lip balm can be so sticky and gooey. Good lipsticks are hard to come by but this one looks great! Nice find!

    Mrs Mahfudz,
Most definitely NOT an animal by products. Our cosmetics are certified to 95% organic by the USDA. That means Zuii qualifies as food grade and makes Zuii unique among cosmetics.

Zuii has had USDA revoked. Not food grade as you can’t eat the chemical ingredients and have to ask serious questions
