Yes it's true most whites drink cold water however I have been drinking room temp water for about ten years and only drink iced drinks on special occasions. There is an interesting fast by Edgar cayce called the apple fast where the person eats only apples and warm water for three days, then the last night takes olive oil and hot water to complete the toxin-flushing fast.

That's good to know. I find that drinking water upon waking up is really good for our digestive system.

I started drinking a cup of hot water upon waking and between and after meals because I had read that it helps to push out toxins in the body. I started to notice right away that I wake up much quicker than I did from coffe and also it seems to get my once sluggish bowels going. If that's not enough I have lost 4 pounds and I have not changed any other thing in my daily actvities or diet.

Do it gradually. Eg. maybe start with once a day and then slowly increase to two glasses and so forth. You need to get use to the warmer temperature.

Chanced upon this after 2 months but I'm a die-hard fan of cold water, it's cold cold cold no matter what.
It does make loads of sense to me...I'm sure I'll have a tough time to switch to warm water, but I will try :) Good finding/recommendation. Cheers.
