Natural Beauty Inside Out
Over the weekend, I picked up this UV-b Safe Natural Sunblock SPF30+ with Zinclear Microfine formula from a mobile cart at VivoCity. It caught my eye because it’s stated as 100% natural and contains 25.9% zinc oxide. I was told it’s available at Living Pharmacy for S$30+ but I got this tube slightly cheaper at S$25.
These are the latest natural lip balms I’ve been using lately. One is Badger SPF15 Sunblock Lip Balm, a natural, mineral-based SPF15 lip balm. The other is Taste Lip Balm from Sweet Beauty Spa. Both are unlike your usual lip balms as in they don’t have the typical beewax color. Rather, one looks almost white and the other, chocolate.
However, they’re both able to moisturize the lips well and also serve their product objective at the same time. What’s best is that both are affordable and are well below the US$6 mark.

I have stopped using blotting paper for a long time. The last ones I used were from Clean and Clear and now, I usually just use a tissue to pat off excess oil if I have to, in the middle of the day. But when Vicky of Tatcha contacted me to ask me to test her Japanese made aburatorigami blotting papers, I just had to say yes. Just look at how pretty they are! *right brain tingling* Vicky was very generous and sent me three packets of the aburatorigami papers to try. You see a lot more in this picture and that’s because I’ve requested more for you, my readers! *wink*

Do you spend more time on your skin care routine or makeup routine every day? I definitely spend more time on my skin care routine. In fact, my makeup only takes 5 minutes but I spend about 20 minutes just to prep my skin and all in all, I need an hour to get myself ready, including bathing and blow drying my hair. That’s too much time and I’m need to find a way to reduce that time because I end up sacrificing my sleep time!
