I know a number of you who read Viva Woman uses natural sunscreens or sunblocks like me, but also have questioned if what you are using is giving you sufficient sun protection. The natural sunscreens use zinc oxide and/or titanium dioxide as the active key ingredients and unlike most of the European formulations, do not tell you the Persistent Pigment Darkening (PPD) rating used to measure UVA protection.

Watsons brings in star products from Dr Jart+

I was thrilled to see Dr Jart+ finally available at a Watsons near me. I think the company brought in four products from the Korean brand sometime end August but they were only available in the bigger outlets. I’m not sure I’ll even get any of the products but I was excited because Dr Jart+’s BB creams are very popular and I think they deserve a mention now that they’re readily available locally.
Can you chew your wrinkles away?

Those who have read Chizu Saeki’s The Japanese Skincare Revolution might remember her advice that we should make a conscious effort to chew our food on that side of the mouth that is sagging or drooping more at the corner. My first thought when I read that was – does that mean that chewing more can help to prevent wrinkles?
