The toner I use is from True Bio Skincare. I only use one pump each time and pat on. Anyway, the product is formulated to penetrate quickly so there's no need for the cotton pad. But I did try the DIY lotion mask for a period of time using Lavera toner. Not bad.

Like you, I don't agree with everything she recommended as well - eg. using the ice pack. As for blackheads, yes, they're difficult to rid completely. Even with products that get rid of them, you have to continue using the product.

Yes dear, do like she say as well, saturate it with water first. She also mentioned it wont dillute the lotion or make it less efficient instead it will just help it spread better :) Which toner is it that you are using?

But there is one point that I dont agree with her, on getting rid of blackheads. She oppose the idea of squeezing your blackhead. Instead she said use more lotion pack in the T zone and plump up the area so the pores will look smaller. But then the problem is still there, the clogged dirts still trapped inside. How to get it out? This is my forever never ending problem/. I went to facial, get it clean, within one week , its back again!

You have a good point about the alchol-based toner. Personally, I don't use alcohol based but I find her mask quite good if using the normal toner. However, the toner I'm currently using works well because it is able to penetrate and so I don't use it with cotton pads - I find it expensive cos this method consumes a lot of toner!

Hmm...what's your skin type like? I have heard of some girls breaking out using cleansing oil but sometimes, it's due to the ingredients and it's not across the board for all cleansing oil. I can't say which will suit you but look for those with lesser ingredients or more natural if you want to try.

The virgin oil is for moisturizing, after the toning. I've only tried it once so can't say too much.
