You might even want to get checked for Celiac Disease. I was diagnosed recently, after having stomach & skin problems. It's a food allergy to gluten, and it often goes undiagnosed.

Acne around the chin is definitely linked to hormones. I'm also taking EPO but I don't think it helps with my acne as it's only good for my PMS.

For me, my outbreak is taking the wrong food that trigger hormone imbalance. Or not sleeping enough. So I need to control these two areas and my acne doesn't flare up so bad. I never had to bother this much in the past though...

I can't say for certainty what you can do - you need to identify what triggered those breakout. Have you been under stress? Have you been sleeping late? Or have you been eating something new?

hi.. i think i have the same problem recently too... i mean the past 2 months... it's like suddenly my good skin has turned into a sad skin.. i have lots of acnes around my chin, big bumpy ones... but there r kinda controlled now after i applied tea tree oil on them...
and then, I realised that small small pimples/ whiteheads formed at my jaw line.. I think should have something to do with my hormones also and i'm so depressed with all these and is trying to find out the solution. Currently taking EPO to balance the hormone abit.. dunno if it's gonna work well...
Can u share what do u do to control or get rid of those breakouts?

thanks =)

My doctor gave me some prozac to take when needed. If it's only for a few days then it's ok. But if the "down time" lasts for weeks then I'll need some real help.
