Top 11 Beauty Resources by Total Beauty
Saturday, 16 January 2010
Check out the web sites, TV and phone apps that’ll make your beauty world a prettier place. And here are 11 handpicked by the experts at Total Beauty.
While some of the sites are commercial, you can picked up quite a bit on tips on makeup, hairstyles and fashion stylists. For example, using a beveled edge brush to apply makeup for skin with large pores, as the pointed tip will “fill” the pores quickly. Or great hints about increasing the volume in your hair by setting your hair in Velcro rollers, then release them and spray your roots with regular hold hairspray and scrunch upward. And if you’re based in US, you can even find resources which points you to a list of beauty services (including doctors, day spas and hair salons) in your area, complete with map and contact information.

Hi Suz: I think the Watch What You Wear might be useful. I’m not sure if I can put together the write up about dressing younger so the resources out there are probably more useful.
