I’ll let you in on my fashion secrets. I hardly venture into the shoe department or stores and I have very limited footwear. Apart from sandals, I don’t have nice fashion shoes. Well, I hardly buy them because I rarely wear them. And I hate stilettos. They’re too filmsy and make me feel wobbly.

Handmade jewelry from mother & daughter

These lovelies were handmade by Leon and arrived in my mailbox over Christmas. She had developed an interest in making jewelry and I was so delighted that she generously shared her fruits of her labor with me! I could never make these!

Anyway, I learnt that Leon is from Nepal and her mom, who is living there also makes beaded jewelry. And because of Leon’s encouragement, her mom started making some beaded necklaces which you can check at Handicraft Diva.

One of my beauty goals is to firm up my neck so that it can correspond to the look of my face.  What I mean is that if I’m want to look younger, then my neck has to reflect that as well.  No point having a lovely complexion with firm skin on my face when my neck is going to be a dead giveaway of my true age!

I spotted this interesting information about our blood type that highlights the health and nutrition information that corresponds to our exact biological profile. These look like roadmaps from Dr. Peter D’Adamo’s Eat Right For Your Type, which state that our blood type is the most important factor in determining a healthy diet and how a blood type diet can help with weight loss and even slow down our aging process. We’ve often been told to adopt a balanced diet but if Dr D’Adamo is right, then the balanced diet for each of us actually differs according to our blood type.
