Is there any value to being beautiful these days?

I don’t know about you, but when I first saw the picture of Ms Jeong Ae Ree, the Korean opera singer and voice teacher in the story about former Romanian diplomat Silviu Ionescu, who is linked to the hit-and-run accident at Bukit Panjang last December, I thought she was Fiona Xie. ChopSaver lip balm: not just for musicians

I don’t play any musical instruments and I know nothing about them, much less the connection between them and a lip balm! So it was interesting for me to find out that ChopSaver was invented by a professional trumpet player, as an all natural, herbal lip care product for people who play a wind instrument because of all the chapping, swelling and soreness they experience. Interesting story isn’t it? And certainly makes the ChopSaver lip balm sound more premium to me.

Would you consult TCM for your skin problems?

So recently I sought treatment at a Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) clinic over my backache problems. However, as some of you who understand TCM knows, the doctor typically takes on a holistic approach when diagnosing a health problem and the usual practice is to read the pulse, make observations of the color of the patient’s skin and tongue amongst others and ask detail questions about the effects of their problem. In the end, the diagnosis for me was that I am suffering from blood heat and that also explains the reason for my recurring acne.
