Why mascaras are a complete waste of money

I have a couple of mascaras in my stash and all of them are at least a year old! *GASP* Effectively, I have no mascara to use because industry experts recommend replacing mascara every three months. But the thing is, I hardly use mascara and so if I were to purchase a new one now, I will probably use it a few times only and then it’ll sit in my drawer and die a natural death because of being neglected and unloved!

Multi-purpose versatile magic scarf & shawl

I spotted a few mobile carts selling magic scarves that can be worn in various ways – like this MorMor scarf from Action City. It’s furry and incredibly soft to the touch but I was particularly captivated by the versatility of this accessory as its ultra-stretchy fabric makes it possible to be worn as anything; as a simple scarf, a muffler, a hoodie, a shawl and even a halter top or strapless top. I bet it can be worn as a skirt too!

Questions for me? Read my FAQs

Instead of a post today, I’ve put up a new page on my blog in the form of Frequently Asked Questions or FAQs. If you’re interested, you can read them here.  The FAQs will tell a little of my background leading up to blogging here, address questions of why I’ve not been responding to your emails or why I have no interest to cover some product information that comes my way.  In addition,  although I don’t have a disclosure policy on this blog, I’ve addressed my review policy in the FAQs as well.

Plant-based omega from flax oil cause acne?

I don’t know what to do with this new bottle of Flax Oil supplement. I just bought it but found that it is causing me to break out with red cystic acne around my mouth. Strange, considering flaxseed oil is a natural source of omega essential fatty acids (EFAs) which is supposed to be good for helping skin disorders such as acne, psoriasis and eczema.
