Review: Avalon Organics Bath & Shower Gel

I spotted the Avalon Organics range of products at Watsons and promptly bought two bottles of their bath and shower gel after looking at their price tag. I still have bottles of brand new shower gel sitting in my bathroom but these were irresistible as each 350ml bottle was going for S$10.90. I considered that price to be cheap and I didn’t even realize that there was a promotion and in the end, I only paid S$18 for both. There were four types of shower gel; lemon, lavender, rosemary and peppermint. I picked the first two because their scent appealed to me.

Do you like to use face sheet masks?

It’s quite odd that while facial sheet masks are huge in Asia, I hardly use them myself. In fact, I don’t like them too much and consider them a complete waste of time. When I say a waste of time, I don’t mean they’re not beneficial. But literally as in it is a waste of time to have to use them for at least 10 minutes or more.

I swear my naughty & perverted top is nice

It was so funny I received a number of comments and emails suggesting that the language in one of my recent Facebook update wasn’t like me. A friend even thought my account was hacked! I was so tickled; I must have managed to beguile many of you by coming across as really ladylike. So if it’s not ladylike to swear, then I must be most unrefine to wear a top that is embroidered with a phrase containing a dirty word. Yes, it says “No time to fuck”. Well, do I look vulgar to you?

Total Beauty: Flattering makeup for Asian faces

Recently, I had to tell someone who said that I look like Lucy Liu to get her eyes checked and glasses changed. I wasn’t flattered by the comment but neither was I that annoyed; I was just surprised. Maybe she was fooled by the pigmentation on my face and mistook them for freckles? Anyway, even though there are a lot of Asian women in the world, no two Asian women are exactly the same. So how on earth would I look like Lucy Liu?
