Tell a story with art illustrated fashion skirts

I’m really more of a right brain person. I think it’s probably quite obvious. I like works of beauty that inspire me and this is why I am always taken with skirts that include interesting arty illustrations; like these that I found from Zoe Chen Online Boutique. Her designs are so alluring and definitely wearable. At US$52 a piece, the prices are rather reasonable too, considering these are unique and handmade.

I did wear it initially but I got too self conscious later and became too embarrassed to be seen in it. Then when I went to my secondary school, she tried making me carry an umbrella, but without much avail. In fact, she used to say I’ll live to regret for not heeding her advice and she was right. I wish I had taken her advice and used my hat and umbrella diligently. Those were such wise words but I chose to turn a deaf ear to them and now, it’s all too late.

DIY Beauty: eye mask for Kung Fu Panda

Heya! It’s been awhile since I featured a DIY recipe. I read about using grated cucumber and potato for the eyes in a book recently and decided to try this. I knew about using them individually as slices to soothe the eyes but hadn’t thought about mixing them together. It’s a bit messy, as Po can testify. But he likes it and so I think it’s a good recipe to try sometimes. Instead of just placing the entire mixture directly on the eyes, I tried putting the contents in a tea bag and it was perfect as an eye mask!
